Free prescription delivery service

We deliver prescriptions directly to your door at no charge for eligible patients who have difficulty accessing the pharmacy.

Who is eligible?

Our delivery service is available to patients based on individual assessment by our pharmacist. We prioritize delivery for those with:

  • Mobility or health conditions limiting pharmacy access
  • Care or support needs making collection difficult
  • Multiple regular medications requiring coordination
  • Circumstances assessed by our team as appropriate for delivery

Electronic prescriptions (EPS)

Your GP can send prescriptions to us electronically (England), meaning no paper and no extra trips.

  • Nominate Corby Pharmacy via our form, NHS App, or your GP surgery
  • Your prescription is sent directly to us
  • We prepare it ready for collection

Repeat prescriptions

For patients taking regular medication such as asthma, diabetes, or blood pressure treatments.

  • Request your repeat from your GP surgery first (often online)
  • Then let us know so we can help streamline the process
  • Our team is always available if something changes

Text message alerts

We'll text you when your prescription is ready, so you're not left guessing.

  • Just provide a mobile number when you register
  • We can notify a nominated a collector (requires pharmacist approval)
  • Ideal for multiple prescriptions

How do I nominate Corby Pharmacy for electronic prescriptions?

Use our online form above, the NHS App, or ask your GP surgery to set Corby Pharmacy as your nominated pharmacy. Once nominated, prescriptions from your GP will be sent directly to us electronically.

Do I still need a paper prescription?

No, if you're using the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS), your prescription is sent digitally. You don't need to bring a paper copy.

How long will my prescription take?

Most items are prepared within 1-2 days. If something is out of stock, we'll order it via our wholesalers as fast as possible and let you know when it's ready.

Can someone else collect my prescription?

Yes. If you opt into text alerts, we can notify your nominated collector (with their permission).

What should I do for repeat prescriptions?

Request your repeat from the GP surgery first, then let us know so we can help streamline collection and preparation.

Run out of regular medication?

Use the NHS emergency prescription service to request a limited supply of a medicine you've completely run out of. This must be a medicine you are prescribed regularly, through a repeat prescription.

  • Complete the online form on the NHS website
  • You'll be charged your usual prescription fee (free if you don't normally pay)
  • Once approved, collect from the pharmacy shown on your approval
